I was born in Vienna in 1954. After years of experimental drawing and painting techniques and intensive study of photography, I am

arrived at digital image generation and processing. For almost three years I worked with a graphics generator I wrote myself.

In terms of content, I like to deal with landscapes, portraits and nudes, in addition to abstract color surfaces and structures. My works have been

influenced by very different art movements, including Art Nouveau (nude), Fantastic Realism (landscapes) and especially Action painting

(Non-representational painting). I often combine these elements: for example, a portrait or nude is placed in front of an abstract background.

Since I often revise, vary and recombine my own works, entire picture cycles are created from one or two basic pictures, which I sometimes arrange together.
