Alexander Janda (*1955) had 1975-1979 a substantiated education as an graphic artist, which influences his artistic work to date.
Together with Jon Griebler he founded the art-project „R·STRIPES“
on 1st of july 2004. The task of this project is the metamorphosis of the
undimensional stripe, or line, in multidimensional figurative or informal
structures. (Jon Griebler is an Austrian musicologist, who sees his research
interest in the experimental music of the last decades of the 20st century
till today.)
In the years 1980-2005 appeared numerous public exhibitions, concerts, performances
and music productions. Photography and video-taping are also essential components
of their work.
